I worked at my full time job for six years and loved what I did. My husband worked nights and watched the children during the day while I worked. Shortly after having our second child my husband was promoted to days and could no longer watch the children. Right in the middle of an ordinary life a curve ball was thrown...I quit my job very unexpectedly to become a stay at home mom. I couldn't imagine having someone other than my husband and I taking care of our children so against what I had always thought life would be like I did the unimaginable....stayed at home with the kids. We have given up so much to make this work with having only one full time income. Shortly after staying at home I knew that the once dreaded curve ball that was thrown was actually a blessing in disguise. I had the chance for the first time ever to do something I had always had a passion for...scrapbooking! So in the midst of this ordinary life the curve ball was thrown and Little Wings "Bee" Scrapping was born. I am so happy staying at home with my children and I know some day they will appreciate all the sacrifices made for them. I try whenever possible to get my son Nicholas involved in helping create new things. I feel as though I am teaching him life lessons about having a business and how to survive. He is so cute, during a preschool interview for Mother's Day he was asked what his mom does, His response..."My mom scraps at her business." I love both of my children to the Heavens and back and couldn't ask for a better husband to support us and all the dreams I have. Looking forward to seeing what God has in store for the future.
